Sea Jewels Book One
by Maralee Lowder
When Jennifer receives a telegram saying her husband’s ship has sunk with all hands on board she does the only thing she can think to do, which is to join her soul with his in the cold depths of the ocean. As she wakens in a strange place to a voice telling her he is Adam, her guardian angel, she begins to realize she just might have made the mistake of a lifetime. Go back and clean up the mess you made, is the order handed down by the Heavenly Tribunal.
Her first job back on earth is to minister to her grieving family. When she has done all she can for them Adams tells her it is time for her to join Ben, her husband. Jennifer is overjoyed to be allowed to finally join him in the afterlife only to discover Ben marooned on an isolated island, very much alive. She is stunned when she realizes how foolish her selfish act had been. Adam tells her she must help Adam and his five shipmates get off the island and back to civilization. Then she must help him find a new wife so he can father the two very special beings who would have been her very own babies.
About The Author :-
I started writing my first novel on the day I threw a book into the trash with the comment, “I could write a better book then that!” Now, you must understand, I have always thought poorly of anyone making such a statement if they were not prepared to back it up. I took up the challenge that day and have been writing ever since. I have had six romance novels published by New Concepts Publishing (my first publisher), Hardshell Word Factory, and Treble Heart Books. I am very excited to now have Sea Jewels, a book which is not of the romance genre, available here at Club Lighthouse Publishing.
Although it is not unusual for my characters to come alive while I write, none have ever done so in quite the way they did in Sea Jewels.
One day while I was busy working on another book, I met a woman who suggested that I put it aside and write the book I was “supposed” to. I must have given her a strange look which told her I didn’t have a clue what she meant because she then told me how I was to go about writing this book. I was to meditate before each writing session, and then simply allow my fingers to write what came to mind. When I followed her instructions I began to see mind pictures—so clear they might as well have been real. What came of this exercise was Sea Jewels. I will always wonder if I wrote the book or was I simply a tool? I don’t suppose I will ever know.
\Now that our four children are grown, my husband and our two dogs, Woodrow and Molly, live in a small town near Mt. Shasta in California’s most northern county. Although officially in retirement, I continue writing with my “silent” partner (or partners). I can hardly wait to share our next collaboration, which they have named “A History of Life.”
